Vintage Berber Rug "Tanirt"
See more from Online Shop
This softly coloured Boucherouite rug, or typically known as a "Rag Rug", was designed and handmade by Amazigh weavers using recycled cloth. Later adopted into the Berber weaving tradition, the Boucherouite rug has a beautifully thick and heavy shag pile giving it its popular 60's bohemian aesthetic.
Each Berber rug has been sustainably made with raw materials to create durability to be used for many years, using the same traditional techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation throughout antiquity.
All our Rugs have been already washed and vacuumed.
