This beautiful Azilal rug is handcrafted from locally sourced, soft cream-coloured sheep’s wool and features an abstract pattern of lines and shapes woven in blue cotton. Finished with crisp white cotton tassels and a tightly woven edge, it makes a striking statement piece, perfect for cosy corners or as a playful accent in a child’s room.
Each of our Moroccan carpets is hand-knotted in the Atlas Mountains using traditional techniques. The Azilal rug is created by blending raw sheep’s wool with vibrant cotton or dyed wool to form unique, expressive designs. Characterized by an additional woven row between each knot, Azilal rugs are lighter and more breathable than denser styles, offering both texture and charm.
Each Berber rug has been sustainably made with raw materials to create durability to be used for many years, using the same traditional techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation throughout antiquity.
