Description of Vintage Runner Rug "Magsen"

Bring bold character into your home with this eye-catching, multicoloured Boucherouite runner. Its dynamic diamond motif, made up of tiny checker-like squares, adds an energetic and artistic flair to any room. Each piece is handwoven using recycled cotton, wool, and fabric remnants, giving it a rich sense of history and handmade charm.

Lovingly made by Amazigh artisans in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains, this traditional “rag rug” features a plush, shaggy texture that exudes a carefree, boho vibe inspired by the 1960s. Its sturdy weave and resilient materials make it especially well-suited for high-use spaces such as hallways, kitchens, or bathrooms.

Each Berber rug has been sustainably made with raw materials to create durability to be used for many years, using the same traditional techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation throughout antiquity.
